About your hypnotherapist Michael Govers

Hi there and welcome to my site, my name is Michael Govers, a Clinical and Analytical Hypnotherapist based in Co. Louth. My mission is to be of outstanding service to others so that they can lead amazing and fulfilling lives.

To serve others means being open, generous and inspirational. As an enthusiastic, passionate practitioner I aim to build long term positive relationships to make transition achievable to the important things in people’s lives.

I aim to create a supportive environment for personal growth and harmony; develop effective systems, techniques and processes. This allows you to achieve greater self-awareness of your strengths, beliefs and tap into your reservoir of magical personal resources. I use a wide portfolio of skills, structures and processes as a means of self-awareness as well as offering spontaneity, humour, enthusiasm and empathy.

My initial interest in the field of complementary therapy was back in 1992 when I started my diploma in Clinical and Pastoral Counselling. I then decided to broaden my interest and subsequently trained with the IAPH – Europe’s largest group of hypno-analysts. This is where I obtained my Diplomas in Hypnotherapy, Hypno-Analysis and Psychotherapy way back in March 1996. Since then I have helped many people with a variety of emotional problems. I specialise in the release of childhood traumas.
